Ball Valve
As the name suggests, ball valves are valves that use a ball to control the flow of substances from one opening to the next. These valves work by allowing the hole to be open, blocked, or open partially to regulate the flow of gas/liquid. Ball valves are the ideal choice for using with gases as they are able to offer better sealing. They are very versatile as they support pressures up to 700 bars and temperatures up to 200°C and sizes typically range from 0.5 cm to 30 cm. They are easy to operate and repair as they contain a simple structure.
NRV Valve
A non-return valve allows a medium to flow in only one direction and is fitted to ensure that the medium flows through a pipe in the right direction, where pressure conditions may otherwise cause reversed flow. The flow through the non-return valve causes a relatively large pressure drop, which has to be taken into account when designing the system.
There are different types of non-return valves, such as spring-loaded, swing type, and clapper type valves. Non-return valves are for example used with mixing loops in heating and cooling systems to ensure proper operation, and with domestic water systems to prevent backflow.
Butterfly Valve
Butterfly Valves are designed to regulate flow, but with limited control capability. Butterfly valves are easily operated by rotating a handle 90 degrees. It consists of a metal disc in the body of the valve which is positioned perpendicular to the flow in the closed position. Regulation of liquid flow can be allowed through intermediate rotations. Butterfly valves are configured to operate electronically, manually or pneumatically.
They can be used for a broad range of applications within water supply, wastewater treatment, fire protection and gas supply, in the chemical and oil industries, in fuel handling systems, power generation etc. These valves can be operated by handles, gears or actuators according to specific needs.

Diaphragm Valve
Diaphragm valves get their name from a flexible disc which comes into contact with a seat at the top of the valve body to form a seal. A diaphragm is a flexible, pressure responsive element that transmits force to open, close or control a valve. Diaphragm valves are related to pinch valves, but use an elastomeric diaphragm, instead of an elastomeric liner in the valve body, to separate the flow stream from the closure element.
Footvalve
The foot valve is a lift check valve, which is usually installed together with suction strainers in the suction line. It prevents the suction line from running empty after the pump is stopped (also see Valve). The foot valve should be installed in such a way that an appropriate distance between the valve, the pump sump floor and the lowest suction-side water level is maintained. A type often used is a cup valve as it features favourable flow characteristics.
Stainer
Strainer valve can be defined as a pipe fitting through which liquid is passed for purification, filtering or separation from solid matter; anything used to strain a liquid; any device functioning as a sieve or filter used to prevent solid bodies from mixing in a liquid stream or flow line. Strainers arrest pipeline debris such as scale, rust, jointing compound and weld metal in pipelines, protecting equipment and processes from their harmful effects, thus reducing downtime and maintenance.
Threaded Valve
Threaded Ball Valve with Top Mounted made from stainless steel is robust and generally has a long service life. It possesses excellent properties, such as corrosion and abrasion resistance and the ability to handle extreme pressures and temperatures. It can also handle cryogenic applications and those that handle toxic media. Because of its durability, this valve also requires less maintenance.
